A New Jersey native, Alyssa studied at Rutgers University. Graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1999, she continued her education at Columbia University, earning a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2001, and worked for nearly a decade as a physical therapist, specializing in Neonatal and Infant development.
Alyssa has always had a love of helping people, and found this career extremely rewarding and satisfying. It wasn’t until she took a hiatus from physical therapy in order to have her two children that she found her calling in real estate. She missed helping people, but also wanted a more autonomous schedule so that she could continue to be heavily involved in her children’s upbringing. As she reluctantly dabbled in real estate (at her husband’s suggestion), she realized: she was helping people, in a very different capacity, but the reward was similar, AND she could continue to be present for her children as they grew. One client turned into many, and she became hooked on guiding and helping people on their real estate journeys. The snowball effect occurred: the more transactions she participated in, the more her clients referred her to friends and family, and the more she fell in love with real estate and all it has to offer.
